The BlindPay [MCP server](/docs/mcp) lets [ChatGPT](https://chatgpt.com) work with your BlindPay account: quote payouts, create customers, issue virtual accounts, and check transaction status in plain English. You add it as a connector in developer mode and sign in with your BlindPay account, so no API key goes into the chat.

## Server URL

`https://mcp.blindpay.com/mcp`

To let ChatGPT read without changing anything, use `https://mcp.blindpay.com/mcp/readonly` instead.

## Add the connector

### Turn on developer mode

In ChatGPT, open **Settings**, then **Connectors**, then **Advanced**, and turn on **Developer mode**.

### Create the connector

Create a connector with `https://mcp.blindpay.com/mcp` and choose **OAuth** authentication.

### Sign in

Sign in with your BlindPay account and pick the instance ChatGPT may use.

## Use it

Add the connector to a chat, then ask:

```text [ChatGPT prompt]
Use the BlindPay tools to create a payout quote for 1000 USDC to a USD ACH
bank account. Show me the fees and rate, then execute after I confirm.
```

The server does not block a call on its own. Keep a confirmation step in your prompt, start on a development instance, or use the read-only URL until you are ready.
