The BlindPay [MCP server](/docs/mcp) lets [Claude](https://claude.ai) work with your BlindPay account: quote payouts, create customers, issue virtual accounts, and check transaction status in plain English. You add it as a custom connector and sign in with your BlindPay account, so no API key goes into the chat.

## Server URL

`https://mcp.blindpay.com/mcp`

To let Claude read without changing anything, use `https://mcp.blindpay.com/mcp/readonly` instead.

## Add the connector

### Open connectors

In Claude, open **Settings**, then **Connectors**.

### Add a custom connector

Choose **Add custom connector** and paste `https://mcp.blindpay.com/mcp`.

### Sign in

Sign in with your BlindPay account and pick the instance Claude may use.

The same steps work in the Claude desktop app.

## Use it

Turn the connector on in a chat, then ask:

```text [Claude prompt]
Use the BlindPay tools to create a payout quote for 1000 USDC to a USD ACH
bank account. Show me the fees and rate, then execute after I confirm.
```

The server does not block a call on its own. Keep a confirmation step in your prompt, start on a development instance, or use the read-only URL until you are ready.
